Postpartum Doula Support

The postpartum period is a time of heightened sensitivity. Your body is open, your emotions are close to the surface, and your nervous system is learning a new rhythm. What’s needed now is rest, warmth, and strong supporting presence. Postpartum care offers a soft landing — a place where you are tended to, nourished, and allowed to slow down as you recover and integrate this transition into motherhood.

About the service

My postpartum support weaves practical care and body-based healing into one continuous offering. Some visits focus on rest, nourishment, and tending the home. Others are centered on the body — receiving touch, warmth, and support as it recovers from birth. Each visit begins slowly, guided by what you need that day.

Postpartum Care Visits

Postpartum care visits offer steady, attentive support for you and your baby. These visits are spacious and relational, allowing time for rest, nourishment, and emotional settling. Care may include warm, nourishing meals, gentle compression, sitz baths or foot soaks, light household tending, or caring for your baby so you can sleep or receive care. The intention is to create ease and continuity during the early weeks, supporting your nervous system as you find your rhythm.

Postpartum care is offered in hourly packages and can be received anytime within the first year after birth.

Postpartum Bodywork

Postpartum bodywork is a more focused, physical form of care. These sessions are slower and more involved, working directly with the body to support recovery after birth. I use warm oils and grounding touch to help the body soften, release, and gently “close” after the openness of pregnancy and birth. This work supports circulation, warmth, and a sense of containment, helping you feel more settled and held in your body.

It’s completely fine to breastfeed during a session; we work around your and baby's needs.

Because bodywork is hands-on, physically demanding, and energetically focused, it is offered as a separate service and priced differently from hourly postpartum care visits.

Womb Care (after 6 weeks)

After the first six weeks, care can extend into womb healing. I offer a Brazilian Womb Spa ceremony, hosted at Flor da Vida Women's Wellness Center (Verona, NJ), which includes yoni steaming, abdominal healing touch and other nurturing practices to support emotional release, reconnection with your body, and restoration of life force. These sessions are a gentle continuation of postpartum care, helping you feel grounded, embodied, and fully tended.
